FDF IS300 / JZX90 / JZX100 Mini Mantis Angle Kit

Description

The IS300 / JZX90 / JZX100 Mini Mantis angle kit is a unique option for the chassis, that utilizes a lower control arm adaptor, and steering knuckle adaptor. this design gives the the chassis’s a control arm extension of 35mm, and bolts on, no cutting or welding anymore to lengthen the stock arm. the other benefit is the knuckle adaptor, gives you roll center correction and a shorter steering ratio for increased angle. it is ackermann adjustable, and has an integrated bump stop to adjust for your angle needs. These items can also be used to further evolve the kit in to our MILD or even our MEGA mantis kit, as they utilize a lot of the same parts.

The MINI kit can be used with factory or aftermarket caster/compression arms, if you want to run the FDF compression arms, you can order separately later on.

–Angle, 55 degrees + depending on your steering rack offset and wheel setup

–Tie-rods, the kit includes tie rod adaptors to connect to the knuckle

-Ackermann, adjustable ackermann (other settings offered upon request)

–Roll Center, optimized handling by adding 30mm of roll centre correction

–Bump steer, corrected bump steer for a lowered ride height

–Caster, optimized caster and trail for the best alignment torque feedback

-Camber, optimized camber ranging from -3 to -6

–Track Width, 35mm wider per side creating a stable and high clearance front end

–Suspension Travel, long travel range, full lock to full lock at any point throughout suspension travel for increased grip

–Joints, Chromoly heim joints and spherical bearings with self lubricating nylon race, easily replaceable

–Weight Reduction, compact drop knuckle design makes for a lighter and stronger design, scissor frame constructed arms with crumble zone to save mounting points from failing under impact, 7075 aluminum used where possible which provides steel like strength at 40% weight reduction.

NOTE* this kit must be run with some form of adjustable upper control arms or extended upper control arms to have the recommended camber range of -3 to -6 degrees (-6 is the maximum we recommend)
