The Chase Bays Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate was designed to adapt your engine for an external oil cooler in a reliable, lightweight, compact, aesthetically pleasing, and high flow design. It’s key features are:
• Innovative self-contained 180ºF thermostatic oil valve
• 10AN ORB Ports
• Very high flow cavities
• Two 1/8 NPT accessory ports (plugs included)
• X Profile Buna O-Ring Seal
• Machined from 6061 Aluminum and bead blasted for smooth finish
• Anodized UV-proof signature Chase Bays Semi-Gloss black with logo laser etched in the side
The built-in thermostatic oil valve allows vehicle to warm up to operating temperature before sending oil through to an oil cooler. Without this the vehicle can take 20+ minutes to warm up and that’s bad for the engine. Oil Sandwich adapters install between oil filter and oil filter landing for easy install of an oil cooler.
