This kit is sold with inBay or inInterior options. The inBay keeps all the lines in the engine bay and mounts the Adjustable Bias Valve to a master cylinder bolt. We have designed the lines to route in the best path possible. Low on the firewall, behind steering column, under frame rail…however we find is the best look while remaining easy to install. Plus, of course, a safe distance from high heat and/or moving objects.
The inInterior kit relocates the lines and Adjustable Bias Valve on the interior side of the firewall. In most cases there is just one or two lines in the engine bay. It requires drilling 6 holes in the firewall, removing the dash, and tightening 30+ Brake Line connections. The inBay is a more popular purchase but for those wanting to completely crazy tucked engine bay look, inInterior is the way to go.
The Brake Line Relocation replaces all of the engine bay hard lines up to the lines in the fenderwell. It does not include the fenderwell to caliper lines. Those are available separately here. The front to rear line is adapted two different ways depending on if inBay or inInterior. For inBay, the small joining block on the passenger side frame rail is removed and replaced with our male to female adapter. Once it is removed our supplied hose will connect directly to it.
For inInterior, the factory hard line is cut, reamed, and the supplied tube nut / tube sleeve is slid onto the hard lines. The hard line is then flared to 37º degrees using a PROPER 37º FLARE TOOL. That will attach directly to the 90º firewall bulkhead fitting, which will then run to the Bias Valve OUT section.
